Competition Information

Daily Schedule & Timetable

Stages

The Abhóca/Avoca Stage is in the Clyde Auditorium in the Armadillo building. The Bóinn/Boyne Stage and Coirib/Corrib Stage are in Hall 5A in the SEC building. The dancing area of each stage is 48’ wide x 32’ deep.

There is a warmup floor for those who are about to compete in Dochart 1 & 2 in the SEC building.

There is a practice floor for all dancers (regardless of which day they will compete) in Hall 1 in the SEC building.

Teachers are not permitted to take over either room to run practices, preventing others from using the shared space.

Competitor Numbers & Collection

Dancers (or someone on their behalf) must collect number cards before the competition commences.  Should a competition start early, dancers will have until the published start time to collect their number, however, if they miss their rotation during this time, then they will not be permitted to dance.

Once the published start time of the competition has passed, it will not be possible to collect number cards for ANY reason.

Number cards will be available for collection approximately 60 minutes prior to the start of the competition.  It is at this time when dancers will find out if they are competing in the EVEN or ODD split (if applicable).

Dancers starting on the Abhóca/Avoca Stage will collect their number cards in the entrance foyer of the Armadillo building.

Dancers starting on the Bóinn/Boyne Stage and Coirib/Corrib Stage will collect their number cards outside Hall 5A in the SEC building.

Please monitor the stages, as it is possible for competitions to start early (with the exception of 8am start times).  If it is decided to start a competition early, then announcements will be made, and number distribution will also start early.
